I’m a wedding & elopement photographer for laid back couples that value the idea of being married more than just having a party. They want photos that show their true selves and represent their love of nature, and prefer to be more natural than overly posed.
Madison and Isaac’s skydiving elopement in Moab was one of those days that remind me exactly why I love what I do. Some couples not only choose each other, but choose to go ALL IN on the adventure of a lifetime. Madison and Isaac truly did, jumping in from 13,000 feet up.
If you’ve ever dreamed of a skydiving wedding, it is every bit as epic as it sounds! Take this day as your sign from the universe to go all in on adventure for your elopement day, too!

Moab, Utah, is one of those places that just does something to your soul. There are towering red sandstone cliffs, ancient canyon formations, and wide-open desert skies that stretch forever. I especially love Moab for spring and fall elopements. The shoulder seasons bring warm days, cooler mornings, fewer crowds, and that gorgeous golden desert light that makes every photo look unreal. Summers can get brutally hot out there in the desert, so if Moab is calling your name, spring and fall are honestly the sweet spot.
And what makes Moab so special for elopements is how much adventure you can build into a single day. It’s one of the rare places where your wedding day can include a jaw-dropping hike, a breathtaking ceremony, a champagne toast overlooking canyon views, and, if you’re like Madison and Isaac, jumping out of a plane before any of that even happens.

Most couples start their elopement day with coffee and getting ready. Madison and Isaac started theirs by hurling themselves out of an aircraft at 13,000 feet above the Moab desert. I love them so much for this!
Skydive Moab is genuinely one of the most spectacular options in the country to skydive. The views on the way down over the red rock canyon country are absolutely insane! There is no better way to kick off your wedding day than with the kind of rush that makes everything else feel electric.
We spent some time at the Skydive Moab facility before the jumps, and even just hanging out on the tarmac next to the plane, these two were radiating pure joy and excitement. I loved capturing the smiles, laughs, and the nervous energy! And watching them land was also so fun!
If you are the kind of couple who thinks starting your wedding day with a skydive sounds like the most amazing thing you’ve ever heard, Skydive Moab is an absolute must. (And if you want your elopement photographer to document all your adventures, I am so here for that.)

After the skydiving adventure, Madison and Isaac traded the parachutes for wedding attire. Madison wore the most gorgeous boho lace dress with detachable bell sleeves, and Isaac wore a rich green crushed-velvet suit with a wildflower boutonniere. Together, they were absolutely stunning against that red rock landscape.
We made our way to Corona Arch, and it was the perfect location for their elopement ceremony. Corona Arch is a good alternative to Arches National Park, with fewer crowds and also dog-friendly! I loved how easy it was to get there, even though there were a few places you had to climb up a rope and a ladder to reach higher. It wasn’t difficult to navigate and made for some fun photos.
What I love most about Corona Arch as an elopement location is that you don’t need to travel to multiple locations for epic photos. It was all right there! The arch itself, the canyon walls, the open desert sky — you have so many different looks and backdrops within walking distance of each other. And it’s close to downtown Moab, which makes logistics so much easier.

Standing in front of that arch, the canyon stretching out wide behind them, Madison and Isaac read their vows to each other. They laughed, and they cried, and it was all so beautiful and genuine. The desert light wrapped around them as they exchanged rings.
After the ceremony, they celebrated with a champagne spray, a couple of cold beers, and a champagne bong. Because after you’ve jumped out of a plane and hiked to a stunning arch and gotten married in the desert, you absolutely deserve to celebrate in the most joyful, ridiculous, wonderful way possible. It was the perfect ending to the most perfect day!

I am SO here for it, and I would love to help you make it happen!
Whether you want to add a skydiving jump, a jeep adventure, a sunrise hike, a sunset ceremony, or celebrate with a champagne bong, you can do it all in Moab. This is one of those places that genuinely takes your breath away, and not just because you’re jumping out of a plane (though also that).
From helping couples find epic ceremony locations to planning timelines around desert light and exploring hidden spots off the beaten path, I love helping create elopement days that feel relaxed, adventurous, and completely unique.
If a Moab adventure elopement is calling your name, reach out and let’s start dreaming it up together!
