I’m a wedding & elopement photographer for laid back couples that value the idea of being married more than just having a party. They want photos that show their true selves and represent their love of nature, and prefer to be more natural than overly posed.
I’m originally from Colorado, and whenever I go back to visit family, I try to get in as much shooting as I can. The scenery is spectacular and I always love to collaborate with my photographer friend, Jennifer of Jennifer Mason Photography. We did a few shoots together in February, where we had some unseasonably warm weather (like 70s!!!!), which really made this session perfect. We both wanted to do a styled session and decided a styled bridal wedding session was perfect. We were lucky enough to have another photographer, Monet and her husband Ryan, model for us, along with their adorable daughter. For this session, Jennifer and I had a vision for a country bohemian feel. We wanted lace, simple flowers, a barn, and chickens. Jennifer scouted out the location for us, as I wasn’t able to do that from my home in Bend, Oregon. She found the perfect setting at Hildebrand Ranch Park & Deer Creek Canyon Park and we got to working on our theme. Monet really delivered as an amazingly gorgeous country bohemian bride! Her husband Ryan actually does embroidery work and made the fabulous cross-stitch necklace Monet is wearing. You can find his work here, including the beautiful hen pendant.
Jennifer’s husband was awesome and trucked their family’s pet chickens to our location. They really tied the concept together! I borrowed a pitchfork from my dad and our country bohemian wedding theme was complete!
Simple bouquet, lace dress, and a gorgeous bohemian bride!

Love this sweet moment I caught. Isn’t their daughter the cutest?
Monet, you are a stunning bride!
A rustic barn, a lacy bohemian dress, and a chicken make for a gorgeous country bohemian wedding!
What a stunning country bohemian bride!
We then moved locations and headed up into the foothills for our next series of photos. Jennifer’s husband packed up the chickens and they went home. The sun was just starting to set and the light was amazing! The love Ryan & Monet have for each other and their daughter is so beautiful. You can really see it shine through. They were amazing models and I’m so thankful to now call them friends! They were truly the perfect models for our country bohemian wedding!
I love everything about this photo, the light, the love, the colors!
The sun just set behind the hills. Such a dream country bohemian wedding!
I told them to just be themselves here, don’t worry about posing. He grabs her in for a kiss, yes!!!!
Awe, such love!
I love their wedding bands. So simple and beautiful!

I used the Brenizer method to create this amazing image, which is 30 separate photos stitched together.
Thank you to Jennifer, her husband, Monet, Ryan and their daughter for all helping to pull this country bohemian wedding styled session together. It really turned out amazing, if you ask me!
