Rochelle and Ben both have a love for craft beer and heard about the Bend Ale Trail, so they planned a brewery themed vacation earlier this year. While here, they visited Crux and watched the sunset with a brew in hand. After enjoying their beer, they went on a stroll along the Deschutes River and Ben proposed!

As most people do, they fell in love with Bend and decided to plan another trip here from the Bay Area, to have their engagement photos done and enjoy more of the tasty craft beers our area is known for. In planning their session, brewery engagement photos at Crux were a priority, but they also wanted to incorporate the river. We decided to start the engagement session on a beautiful stretch of the Deschutes River, near the area known as Big Eddy. It was a beautiful July day and luckily, the mosquitoes weren’t too bad!

After the river, we headed over to Crux for the brewery engagement photos. It was only fitting given Rochelle and Ben’s love of craft beer. It was a pretty busy night at Crux, but that’s exactly how it is here in Bend, especially on a beautiful summer evening!

The warm summer sun and the view of the Cascades is what makes Crux a favorite for locals and tourists alike!

Hops grow around Crux and of course brewery engagement photos aren’t complete without a few photos among the vines.

Crux was kind enough to allow us to step back into the fermentation room to get a quick photo.
