I’m a wedding & elopement photographer for laid back couples that value the idea of being married more than just having a party. They want photos that show their true selves and represent their love of nature, and prefer to be more natural than overly posed.
Nestled in the heart of a pine tree forest, FivePine Lodge offers the best of rustic luxury with high-end amenities and an incredible natural setting. Whether you’re soaking in the spa, exploring local trails, or simply enjoying the quiet beauty of your cabin in the pines, FivePine Lodge provides the perfect location for your day.
As a local Bend Oregon elopement & intimate wedding photographer who has captured several intimate weddings at this incredible venue, I can confidently say that FivePine Lodge is an amazing location for couples looking to celebrate their love in a breathtaking, laid-back setting.
If you’re considering getting married here as well, here’s everything you need to know about planning your FivePine Lodge wedding!
As a photographer who’s obsessed with capturing love stories in the great outdoors, FivePine Lodge is one of my favorite spots for an intimate wedding or elopement. But if you’d like a larger wedding, they can accommodate ceremonies and receptions of up to 200 people.
The cute, photogenic cabins set the perfect cozy vibe, and the grounds are full of hidden gems for photos—think quiet wooded paths, open spaces with mountain views, and unique lodge architecture. Plus, being in the charming town of Sisters, Oregon, you’re just a short walk from boutique shopping, art galleries, and local cafes.
Plus, they have a special elopement package, and they offer weekday and off-season rates that are ideal for couples looking to keep their more intimate and save a bit while they’re at it.
FivePine Lodge offers on-site lodging for the couple and guests. Newlyweds get a complimentary cabin for the night of the wedding/elopement, while your guests can book other cabins at a discounted rate.
Having everyone nearby makes the wedding day (and the entire weekend!) more relaxed and enjoyable, and you don’t need to worry about getting people home or their hotels at the end of your reception.
I LOVE when my couples want to incorporate adventure into their wedding day, and FivePine Lodge offers SO many different ways to do that! Enjoy hiking and waterfall exploring, as there are many amazing trails with various difficulty levels. Here you can also do things like mountain biking, golf, and fly fishing, as well as seasonal activities like skiing at the nearby Mt Bachelor Resort or Hoodoo Ski Area.
FivePine Lodge is also close to the cozy town of Sisters, where you’ll find the Sisters Movie House, cute boutiques, art galleries, and cafes.
If you’d like to do something more relaxing, there’s an on-site Shibui Spa. Here, you can enjoy a pre- or post-elopement (or both!) pampering session. You can get a massage, facials, and even Ayurvedic treatments. They also offer a thermal tub to soak in and unwind after a day of exploring during all seasons.
You can get extra ideas on specific trails and locations on their site here!
FivePine Lodge is a year-round wedding destination, and every season brings its own vibe. Apart from the weather, depending on the time you choose (so specifically November to May), you can also enjoy the off-season rates!
From March to May, temperatures begin to rise, with daily highs reaching the 60s. Mornings and evenings are still cool, so make sure you pack layers. In mid-spring, wildflowers start blooming, which adds a bit of color and whimsy to the landscapes. I also love the views of still snow-covered mountain peaks.
This is peak wedding season for a reason. The area around FivePine Lodge is lush and green, and most trails are open for hiking and mountain biking. The days are long, so you can fit in plenty of outdoor activities.
The weather is warm, averaging in the high 70s. The skies are clear, and the mountain views are simply stunning. It’s perfect for outdoor ceremonies and sunset photos!
September to November brings cooler temperatures, dropping into the 40s, and more rain by the end of the season. But fall is still one of the most beautiful times to visit, with stunning fall foliage displaying vibrant reds, oranges, and yellows.
Winter in Sisters is magical! More likely than not, you’ll get snow, creating a picturesque winter wonderland around FivePine Lodge. The nearby Hoodoo and Mt. Bachelor ski resorts also open, offering skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing options. The snowy landscape adds a beautiful touch to a cozy, intimate elopement.
If you and your partner are traveling from out of state, I recommend flying into Redmond Municipal Airport (RDM) or Portland International Airport (PDX). RDM is only 20 minutes from Bend, while PDX is about four hours. While PDX has more airline and flight time options, RDM is more convenient. Both airports are near popular rental car sites, or you and your partner can opt to secure a vehicle reservation from an app service like Turo.
If you’re eloping in winter, be sure to rent a car with proper traction tires or chains, as they’re required from November to April.
You can find them at 1021 Desperado Trail, Sisters, Oregon 97759, or find their Google Maps link here.
FivePine Lodge offers not only a stunning location for your intimate wedding or elopement but also access to an incredible range of local vendors to make your day truly special. From florists to bakers, hair and makeup artists to musicians, these vendors have experience working in Central Oregon and can help bring your wedding vision to life.
For flowers, consider beautiful arrangements from Woodland Floral, The Posie Shoppe, Summer Robbins Flowers, or Porter Floral.
When it comes to wedding attire, Suitsupply, David’s Bridal, Watters, and Men’s Wearhouse have you covered.
For your music and entertainment, consider Flip Flop Sounds for DJ services or live performances by Eric Leadbetter Music or Honey Don’t. If you’re after a string quartet or more classical music, check out Bend Oregon Wedding Music.
For hair and makeup, look no further than Edge Hair and Makeup, Makeup Mafia, or Artistry by Kate—each offering services that will help you look and feel your best on your wedding day.
And let’s not forget the desserts! Ida’s Cupcake Café, Crumb Central Oregon, and Dreamin’ Desserts are ready to create stunning cakes and desserts that taste just as good as they look.
Last but not least, for officiants, check out Wendy Duncan Ministries, Officiant Jimmie, Rev. Chris Lewis, or Weddings with Heart to ensure your ceremony is personalized and meaningful.
