I’m a wedding & elopement photographer for laid back couples that value the idea of being married more than just having a party. They want photos that show their true selves and represent their love of nature, and prefer to be more natural than overly posed.
Matt & Courtney are truly a perfect couple. You can just tell by the way they look at each other. Their love is apparent. It is deep. It is strong. I got this sense within the first few minutes of working with them. I knew we were going to create magic with their engagement session!
I am so in love with love stories, and theirs is a special one, for sure. We met up in the parking lot of a local brewery (it’s Bend, after all) so that we could carpool up the Cascade Lakes Highway together for their snowy engagement session. They brought their gorgeous dog along, so I hopped in their truck and off we went! We chatted about how they met, their upcoming wedding, their interests, life and everything in-between. We pulled into Dutchman Flats Snow Park on this beautiful, winter afternoon. The weather was particularly warm for January, which meant no big coats or crazy hats to contend with. I’m pretty sure both Matt & Courtney were happy about that! The afternoon light was truly perfect, with the sun setting behind Mount Bachelor and lighting up Broken Top. Here are my favorite images from their engagement session. I hope you love them too!
If you are engaged, I would love to chat with you! I offer a complimentary engagement session with most of my wedding packages. And, if you’re just looking for engagement photos, well, I can do that too.
I am a portrait and wedding photographer based out of beautiful Bend, Oregon. I love working with couples and getting to know them more through their engagement session.
I love this engagement set! The snow lends such a beautiful background.
You did a great job capturing the love!
Thank you, Pamela!
What a wonderful snowy engagement session! I can’t help but giggle that Mt Bachelor is in the background. ha!
Thank you!
